First Saturday Devotions each month at Flemington

The MMP holds First Saturday Devotions on each First Saturday of the Month at St Dominic’s Catholic Church at Flemington (opposite Flemington railway station). These Devotions, which are held in response to Our Lady’s requests at Fatima, commence with Mass at midday, followed by Benediction and then by the Cenacle itself. Confessions are available from 11am to 3pm. Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament continues after Benediction until 3pm. Visits to Noumea, Wallis Island, Port Vila and Fiji in 2020

Fr Laurent Larroque (the Director General of the MMP from 2011 to 2019) and Fr Donal McIlraith (the Priest responsible for the MMP in Oceania), will be visiting Noumea on 2-7 August 2020, Wallis Island on 8-11 August 2020, Port Vila on 12-14 August 2020 and Fiji on 14-16 August 2020, and again on 22 – 29 August 2020. Annual MMP Retreat for Oceania in 2020

The next Annual Retreat for the MMP in Oceania is to be held on 17 – 21 August 2020 at St Clement’s (Redemptorist) Retreat Centre at GALONG (near Yass) in NSW.

The Retreat will be led by Father Laurent Larroque (the Director-General of the MMP from 2011 to 2019), assisted by Fr Donal McIraith (the MMP Priest Responsible for Oceania) who will act as interpreter. The retreat is open to all Priests, Religious, Lay Associates and friends.

The retreat begins with lunch at 1.30pm on Monday 17 August, and concludes after lunch on Friday 21 August 2020. All necessary information will be provided to participants prior to the Retreat; a detailed daily program will be provided to participants on arrival.

A range of room-types will be available. Some rooms have single beds; others have twin singles, or double or queen sized beds. Most rooms are air-conditioned, and have desks. Some rooms have shared bathroom facilities, while others have their own ensuites. There are also a small number of flats available (flats include double beds, a desk and a sofa for relaxation). The cost of the retreat (including accommodation, all meals and linen) varies with room-type.

As the number of rooms that have ensuites is strictly limited, you are encouraged to register as soon as possible.

The 28th Annual MMP New Year's Eve Prayer Vigil at Flemington

The 28th Annual MMP New Year’s Eve Prayer Vigil will be held at St Dominic’s Church at Flemington on 31 December 2019. The Vigil commences with Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, which commences at 8pm, and continues till Mass concludes. There Vigil includes three MMP Cenacles (at 8.30pm, 9.30pm and 10.30 pm) and Benediction, which is held at 11.45pm immediately prior to midnight MASS.

Confessions are available from 8pm. A light supper will be available in the Parish Hall (kindly bring a plate to share). The Church is air-conditioned, and is located on the corner of The Crescent and Hornsey Rd Homebush West, opposite Flemington Railway Station. There is plenty of parking available, and trains run all night. More details in the flyer below, which can be downloaded.
